Introducing the NHS App
f you’re a patient at our practice you can now use the NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services 24/7 on your smartphone or tablet.
If you already use PATCHS, you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.
Use the app to:
• view your record
access your GP medical record securely
• order repeat prescriptions
see your available medicines and place an order
• check your symptoms
find trusted NHS information on hundreds of conditions and treatments and get instant advice
• register your organ donation decision
choose to donate some or all of your organs and check your registered decision
• find out how the NHS uses your data
choose if data from your health records can be shared for research and planning
• view and download your Covid vaccination certificate
view your vaccination certificate or Covid pass for travel and events
Download the NHS App
To set up your NHS login, you will need to verify your identity in the app, using your identity documents or by registering for online services at the surgery.
If you have any problems setting up your NHS login using a photo ID through the NHS App, please download the online services registration form, fill it in and bring it to the surgery so we can verify your identity.

How to order your repeat medication on the NHS App
Open the NHS App and make sure you are logged in.
Tap ‘Prescriptions ‘in the centre of the bottom menu.
Tap the green button ‘Order a prescription’. You can also view your previous orders from this screen.
Select ‘A repeat prescription’.
All medication available to be ordered will show on the next screen. Choose the one you want to order by tapping the left-hand box to add a tick.
Next, scroll down the page and add an additional message if you need to, then tap the green ‘Continue’ button.
The final stage is to check the details of your request (and make any changes if necessary.) Tap the green ‘Confirm and order prescriptions’ button to submit your request.
Your prescription should be available to collect within three working days from your nominated pharmacy.
